Description
Orky is an octopus who lives deep inside the ocean and is set out with the objective of stopping human activities of mining and polluting the aquatic ecosystem. Your objective is to help Orky avoid all the oil rig pipes and get to the main oil rig base.
Experience

Orky is very much influenced from Flappy Bird. I decided to make something like Flappy Bird which was as frustrating and challenging but yet addictive. I thought to myself, why not create something meaningful, so I teamed up with two of my buddies to work on Orky and fleshed out the concept to them. Having said that, we brainstormed over several ideas until "Aquatic Ecosystem" struck us. We decided that the character would be an octopus, started referencing other characters and finally came to a conclusion. The development process by itself was about 2 weeks including art and testing.
The objective of this project was to test and see if we can work as a team for quick sprints. It was a fun project and helped me understand submission process' and guidelines for Android, iOS and Amazon Stores better.

We have plans of creating Orky as a brand and integrating the character into differnt scenarios and mechanics, perhaps come out with more games which deliver quick game play sessions.
